This sweet, cute donkey with fluttering eyelashes sometimes comes to say hello to me. Isn’t he just beautiful?
Interesting clouds today: a block of grey, dark grey and then blue sky not far behind… Sometimes in life we feel stuck, as if nothing is moving but just like the clouds in the sky come and go, situations come and go. What remains is the sky and our true essence, they never change, they just are.
A beacon of light in the forest! There is always at least one. Beacons of light are also in and around us when life is a bit tough and dark…You can choose to see them, to notice them, to bask in their warmth, to feel joy and most importantly to move forward…
I LOVE walking but in this weather? Not really, sorry doggie, walking will be for tomorrow😋.
Big puddles of water in the forest today because of consistent rain. Puddles also offer beauty in the way they are reflecting what is surrounding them. There is beauty everywhere!
What a difference a day makes…the sun is out, the sky is blue, there is a gentle breeze, the horses are relaxing and enjoying this wonderful sunlight. Walking every day brings home in a very enlarged way how everything is constantly changing. To witness and observe this ever changing inner and outer landscape from a space of profound silence, undisturbed by any of it and allowing necessary action to come spontaneously, is life’s art.
What better than visiting these cows during my walk on this very drizzly, rainy day. Whatever the circumstances, their majestic slowness does not change. They are munching slowly, do not move their bodies fast, express their curiosity – oh they are curious beasts – in a deliberate way, even pricking up their ears happens rather slowly… they are gorgeous and I love to say hello to these teachers of the art of being slow when I am walking past.
